Caleb Swartz is from Madison, Wisconsin. He started racing cyclocross when he was 9 years old and mountain bikes at age 10. After Caleb’s first race he was immediately hooked and continued to progress throughout his early teens. At age 14 Caleb decided to pursue his dreams in the sport. Since then, he has competed at a national and international level earning wins and podiums at professional UCI races, won three national championships, and represented the U.S. in World Cups and both cyclocross and mountain bike World Championships.

There is nothing Caleb enjoys more than racing and riding his bike. Training is a key part of his life that he is extremely passionate about. That is part of the reason Caleb chose to become a coach, he loves working with people and helping them achieve their goals. One of the most important parts of training and racing is keeping it fun. Keeping athletes hungry and motivated to work hard is key. That philosophy applies to everyone from a beginner road racer to an expert cyclocross or mountain biker. Balancing the hard work with fun and adventure is what makes a great coach, and that is what Coach Caleb strives to do.

Caleb is now 24 years old and racing off-road professionally. He graduated from Marian University in Indianapolis, Indiana where he earned a degree in biology and a minor in exercise science. Caleb’s progression from a junior to a professional has given him an in-depth understanding of the application as well as the execution of coaching. Caleb aims to share that knowledge, combined with the training expertise of Forward Endurance to help others achieve their goals and discover their own love of cycling. Caleb is a level one NICA coach and SafeSport certified.
